Sisters in Cheese started in late 2017 when I told my sister-in-law that I had a literal dream on night about starting a business named "Sisters in Cheese" and sell fancy cheese boards. We joked about it for a few weeks (let's be real, it's a kind of ridiculous name), but then it quickly turned into the real deal when people started asking for them for their events. My sister-in-law and I decided not to mix best friendship and family with business, so I (my name is Chelsea, by the way. Pleased to meet you) became a one woman show with the occasional help from good friends and family.
Now let's hop back about 10 years ago. I was working in an Italian restaurant and ordering the antipasto platter for every discounted shift meal. For my own parties, I was making feeble attempts (we're talking pre-blocked cheddar chunks and slices of ham) at cheese platters at home. Over the years, these platters became more and more elaborate until I started dubbing them "cheesescapes" because they had started looking like topographic maps and landscapes.

About
Who We Are and What We Do
Sisters in Cheese started in 2017 as a catering business, specializing in Grazing Boards, Boxes, and Tables. After realizing we needed to expand our kitchen space, we set up shop in a restaurant space in Downtown Madrid, Iowa, just a block off of the world-famous High Trestle Trail. In addition to order-ahead Grazing options, Sisters in Cheese now serves breakfast and lunch, Tuesday through Saturday. We Love our community and our customers and we hope you love us too.
